Directions to ECEB from Hampton Inn in Urbana
We recommend walking from the Hampton Inn as metered parking near ECEB is limited.
Walk west (right) from the front of the hotel, on University Avenue to Wright Street, where there is a cross-walk at the light. Turn left to the south and ECEB will be on your left half-way down the first block.
Agenda
We are still finalizing the EITC Fall 2022 conference agenda. If you have topic suggestions or questions, please send them to the EITC 2022 Planning Committee. We will follow-up with registered participants with more information once the agenda is created.
Food
Sunday:
The group dinner on Sunday, October 9, 2022 will be at Guido's Bar in downtown Champaign. Please plan to pay on your own for this meal. We suggestion parking in the 400-498 N Neil St Parking lot for attendance at Guido's. Other public parking is available as well.
Monday:
Breakfast is available at Hampton Inn, but we will also provide pastries/bagels and coffee in 3002 ECEB.
Monday lunch with be from Daily Byte.
Dinner on Monday will be BBQ from Black Dog in 3002 ECEB.
Tuesday:
Breakfast is available at Hampton Inn, but we will also provide pastries/bagels and coffee in 3002 ECEB.
Tuesday lunch with be from Daily Byte.
Registration
Please register by October 3rd to join us in person or online for the conference. The conference will be held in our Electrical and Computer Engineering Building (ECEB) at 306 N. Wright St., Urbana, IL 61801. ECEB is within 2 blocks of the Hampton Inn Urbana-Champaign.
Housing Information
The Hampton Inn Urbana-Champaign has a block of rooms at a special rate of $114/night under the group "Big Ten EITC 2022" for Sunday, October 9, 2022 through Tuesday, October 11, 2022. Reservations can be made over the phone using the group name "Big Ten EITC 2022". Rooms must be booked with a form of payment by October 3, 2022 to receive the conference rate.
